Our Recreational Soccer Program provides an exciting atmosphere for over 1,600 boys and girls in the communities of Andover, Anoka, Big Lake, Coon Rapids, Elk River, Rogers, Otsego, Oak Grove, Princeton, Ramsey, St. Francis, Zimmerman, and other nearby areas. The 2026 season will run May 11 – June 25, 2026, with Soccerfest being Saturday, June 27. Two days a week. One day of practice, one day for a game on weekday evenings. SoccerFest is a tournament-style game day where the kids will participate in two games and receive their participation award. This year we will offer four (4) sites; Otsego, Zimmerman, Andover, and Princeton.

We will do our best to honor buddy requests; however, location/site requests are prioritized over buddy pairings. We plan to run Spring League at all sites as numbers allow. If an age group must be combined at one location, families will be contacted before team assignments.

The program is developed to teach soccer fundamentals, skills, ball handling, knowledge of the game, sportsmanship, team play, and create a love of the game of soccer.

BOREAL FC is open to ages 4-18. Those participating in the spring/summer season will receive two (2) weekly one-hour sessions of skills and game-play (45 minutes for U4). In addition, players will play in their community-based area. The focus of the spring/summer season is to develop a genuine love for the game of soccer while maximizing each player’s unique abilities.

Boreal FC Recreation – Spring 2026 Season

U4-U6: $99.00 (sessions will be 45 minutes long)

U8-U13+: $125.00 (early Bird Price) $140.00 after January 1, 2026 (sessions will be one hour long)

#3 FALL LEAGUE – 4v4

Dates: September 5 – October 10, 2026

Schedule: Wednesday 6:00–7:00 PM & Saturday 9:00–10:00 AM

Locations: Hawkridge (Andover), Otsego Prairie Park, Zimmerman

As with Summer, locations will operate based on registration numbers. If an age group needs to be combined at a single site, families will be notified prior to placement.

Additional Notes

Families registering for the multi-season bundle are committing to all three seasons.

Each season will have its own communication, team assignments, and reminders.

Super 8's is a program dedicated to U7-U8 recreational soccer players. Boreal Super 8's program will give more playing opportunities for players who are looking to prepare for competitive soccer program. The main focus of the Super 8's program is for our youngest players to grow in their passion for the game. Players within the program will work directly with our professional staff and high school-aged players. These recreational players will be taught foundational skills with the balls, along with in-game tactics. 

The Super 8s program is broken into three (3) seasons: summer, fall, and winter. Each program runs for between 6 - 8 weeks. 

The Fall recreational program offered by Boreal FC is a 4v4 mini soccer. Our 4v4 program is fun and casual; it allows players to get as many touches on the ball as possible. The program is intended to work on skill development as well as having fun. The 4v4 program is an opportunity for players to extend their summer season. In addition, the program’s relaxed environment is an excellent opportunity to try soccer for the first time.

The season will run from September 6 thru October 11 on Wednesday evenings 6:00-7:00PM and Saturday mornings 9:00-10:00AM.

The 4v4 soccer program consists of teams of up to 8 players, of which 4 are on the field when playing. Teams are co-ed and offered for U4 through U12.
